The traditional choice is the emerald one, although the emerald one is more famous for his color than his clarity. The dark red one of Tsavorite is lit to the market in the 1970 and became the second choice in the fine gems green. Tsavorite of superior quality had not only a color greener, more saturated and more excellent, it had the superior brightness, the clarity and the hardness. The only problem is this tsavorite became so popular that the prices went as top or higher than the emerald one.
